We have been having a great time this week playing with the beginnings multiplication. We have been using the bead box to show how multiplication is simply adding groups together~I am always amazed at how Montessori can be so simplistic yet so higher level at the same time~just elegant!

San Francisco Trip
Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park~
We also visited the Japanese Tea Garden, and of course the Children's Play Park.
It was the most amazing warm and sunny spring day.

Another sick day.....
This one is a favorite around here.
We also played Somebody. but this one is her fave.
Good for sum practice and strategy.

Spring~~
Well I am back after a hiatus of writing. We went on a trip to see family, got sick, went through Easter, and all got sick again.
I feel like I have been reborn as an unschooler, and I am liking it.......no really, spring fever has set in, and we have been relishing in the glory of nature, Charlotte Mason style really~
We have been to the pond down the trail many times to catch tadpoles. Ok~my kids have the lifecycle of the frog down, but somehow it is always magical.
We planted a "Peter Rabbit" garden the other day complete with carrots. Will post pictures when it starts to look a bit more exciting.
And Sophia had been very busy making fairy houses everywhere.
