I have two in the mix this year. Lucy is joining the madness, I mean fun. I have been planning like a crazy woman, and I think we are ready. The girls woke up to these boxes this morning full of school supplies. and I woke up to this~~ a much needed cup o' coffee.
Will write more later about how things are going, and curriculum, one of my favorite topics~

Took me time to read the whole article, the article is great but the comments bring more brainstorm ideas, thanks.
Welcome to our third year adventure into the facinating world of home learning~my co-pilot, a very focused 3nd grader part time harpist, and chicken farmer. This year we have the pleasure of her sister joining us as a Kindergartener which is a very fun grade to be in by the way.... We are following the Well Trained Mind as our curriculum choice. It is a classical based education "plan". I also take much of my inspiration from Charlotte Mason and Montessori methods.
I try and listen to the cues of my daughters, and from life. We take breaks, go outside, have tea, have fun. I want them to keep her sense of wonder in the world. That may be one of the reasons we homeschool.
Kindergarten Curriculum
Amazing amounts of manipulatives, puzzles and art projects
